ANOTHER by Dr. Mutobe

Any Coin man knows his name... Dr. Mutobe (Yoshihiko Mutobe) is a legend in the art of coin magic.
This DVD explains his nine original techniques, routines and variations. Simply, the very best.

"If you ever wanted to learn the Mutobe palm, then this DVD will teach you. How to get into it, how to get out of it, and some very clever applications of the move. The rest is up to you." - David Roth

And, four original routines using his techniques are explained.

"Most magicians want their magic to look good. Some want their magic to be perfect. But Dr. Mutobe isn't happy unless his magic is perfect, even when you do it.On this DVD, he teaches his revolutionary techniques with the same precision and dedication that have made him one of the top coin magicians in the world." - Curtis Kam

All the actions are explained very in detail. You could master them certainly.

"Another Retention Vanish is really very beautiful and illusory!I really like his idea, the immobility of the fingers, all very natural from all angles. Many magicians use the retention vanish, but most of the retention vanish are useless in a real work because they have discovered the corners. one was made by Mutobe is perfect from every angle."- Giacomo Bertini

Welcome to Another World of Coin magic.

"I've been waiting for this moment.Dr.Mutobe is my idol and he is definitely the most important coin magician in Japan. This is a long-awaited DVD.There is perfect magic with perfect sleights. This is a real masterpiece." - Ponta the Smith

Mind to Matter (Mind Power Deck by John Kennedy) presented by Rick Lax

Spread a deck of cards face up on the table and ask a spectator to look at any card. No one else could possibly know the card because she never touches or names it. You concentrate, then slowly but surely read her mind and name the card!

You can repeat it immediately and it will become even more baffling. In fact, even if several people simultaneously look at different cards you can read each person's mind and name his card correctly every time!

John Kennedy's Mind Power Deck is so eerie, so impossible, your audience will be convinced that you possess a sixth sense.

Why is it so good? John Kennedy collaborated with master magician and mentalist Tim Conover to create the ultimate mind reading deck. It can be shown as a normal deck of fifty two cards and even be handled by a spectator without them noticing anything unusual. Yet you'll be able to "read their minds" correctly every time. And there's no system to memorize because the deck does the work for you. You'll absolutely love this trick!

The following clip of Derren Brown is for inspiration only. We have no idea how he does the following trick, but you can achieve something similar with Rick Lax's Mind to Matter.

City Prediction for iPhone by Soma

http://www.ellusionist.com/city-prediction-for-iphone.html

The effect:
The magician asks for the spectator’s iPhone and asks her to open the built-in Maps application. After the performer turned it away for a few seconds, he puts it face-down on the table. From this point, nobody will touch the phone but the spectator. First she names a city - it is completely free of choice, no lists or restrictions are involved. Then she turns her iPhone over and surprisingly realizes that the city she named is marked in the previously opened Maps application.

The trick is easy to perform, requires minimal setup and practice. The app includes written instructions and a video guide, as well.

Facts:
- Works with any iPhone or iPad with iOS6+
- NO voice recognition used
- NO force used
- NO pre-show used
- Spectator can name virtually ANY city in the world
- Nothing is installed on the spectator’s device
- City is marked in the Apple Maps application
- A brand new method never used in magic before

Jheff Poncher - Jheffsmind

Jheff, who is best-known for being proprietor of the mentalist’s Internet resource site, Marketplace Of The Mind, has quietly published quite a bit of original and well-respected material. This collection contains the material included within many of his previously published e-books, which bought separately totals close to $150, plus some additional exclusive routines.

This volume includes the following:

ULTIMENTAL – The highly acclaimed effect in which a participant has a free choice of any few items, randomly chooses one, and discovers that choice in an envelope that was sealed just before the choice was made. Included here is Jheff’s revised handling.

THE SHUFFLED MIND – A collection of very powerful mentalism effects with playing cards. This has been expanded to include more routines, including a diabolically easy Any Card At Any Number routine, which uses a borrowed deck of cards and some very basic sleights.

A SYMBOL ACT – A complete, dynamic, three-phase act consisting of three routines that use a deck of ESP cards.

MONYUMENTAL – After a participant signs and seals a dollar bill inside an envelope, the performer dramatically reveals the serial numbers.

PREDICTAMENTAL A participant makes a number of free choices, yet the performer’s prediction which has been in plain sight the entire time is accurate.

GAMES OF THE MIND* – A collection of mentalism routines featuring board games, specifically Clue.

INTIMENTAL* – A collection of close-up mentalism routines.

(*GAMES OF THE MIND and INTIMENTAL are books that were published after JHEFFSMIND was originally taken off the market and contain material from JHEFFSMIND that was not collected in the other booklets.

This 242 page illustrated PDF contains more than thirty routines. The hardcover edition is available upon request, depending upon stock on hand. A hardcover/PDF combo package is also available upon request, depending upon stock on hand.

“JHEFFSMIND is more than just a collection of excellent effects from an extremely discerning writer/performer. It is a journey through our art that will likely inspire you to explore creative side-trips of your own making.”
– Bob Cassidy

“JHEFFSMIND has something for anyone that wants to start in mentalism to those who have been around and want some fresh ideas. It has sparked several new ideas for me. I am surprised I haven’t heard any reviews or people talking about this needle in the haystack… You can build an act with this material and spark some creative juices. I hope others give this a chance… $79.95 is a Bargain!! You get well more than you pay for…”
– Tim Pratt

This book has some really good material in it. All types of effects and routines. It all comes straight from either Jheff’s working acts or stuff he’s done impromptu. Good stuff. There are at least two stand out ideas in the book: ULTIMENTAL and A SYMBOL ACT. The first is a great way of predicting a word a person will end up saying and all it uses is your business card and a pay envelope…. and they can keep everything. A Symbol Act is a mini routine using an ESP deck to make the spectator the mindreader. Plus there is much more inside. Check it out.
– Greg Arce

“I was fortunate enough to see Jheff work at the Magic Castle – so glad to see him work a few weeks back- I actually went back to watch him a few times I enjoyed it so much!”
– Paul Romhany

“I loved Ultimental and I know I added some of my tweaks when I used to perform it often. Simple and to the point. As Mentalism should be (or at least appear to be!)”
– Paolo Cavalli

“I do have Ultimental and Symbol Act. Both excellent. Jheff is a very creative thinker.”
– Tony Razzano

The Sweet Jar by Paul Stockman

Oz Pearlman - The Sweet Jar - America's Got Talent 2015

CCDP by Spencer Tricks

SpencerTricks is BACK!

This is NOT an explanation of magic tricks. I explain no tricks that impresses your spectators.
This is MORE THAN THAT.

C.C.D.P. can be used not only on close-up show, but also on parlor and even on stage! You can get ready in 1 second. You can set it up all day with NO STRESS. I set it up even NOW that I'm writing this letter in a cafe.

C.C.D.P. is one of the really rare effects that doesn't select performers. It follows the spectators' image of "MAGIC" and yet is not be expected.

Spectators are freaked out (sometimes scream) on the first phase, then laugh by being relieved on the second phase, then laugh out loud on the third phase. All 3 phases happened in seconds. It shakes their EMOTIONS and end up with BIG LAUGH, the range between emotions makes spectators being so relaxed. Then they go naturally into their atmosphere of "Alright, I'm gonna enjoy the show."

The MOST incredible factor on this effect is that it can solve certain problem that many magicians often encounter on their daily performances.

Honestly, my first motivation to create this effect is to solve these issues. Now I can make the moment of "THE ISSUE" into the PEAK of the show. Yes, this 5 second gag often creates the bigger moment than you create by performing the great magic tricks.

If you perform in a party or restaurant, the effect draw the attentions of other people since your spectators suddenly SCREAM & LAUGH OUT LOUD in 5 seconds. For other people smile emoticon your potential customers) think there's something extra ordinaly going on at your spot.

C.C.D.P. entertains all the people, regardless of their age, sex and nationalities. It's FULLY TESTED.

C.C.D.P. is the ULTIMATE device because of its "Practicality" and "Stress Free Concept". If you once use it, you will understand the POWER of the effect immediately.

The video is in Japanese & English. Each language section is approximately 40 minutes.

Tarbell 36: Intimate Magic

Knowledgeable magicians have always been justifiably proud of the ability to perform almost anywhere on a moment's notice.

The basis of this lesson are intimate magic tricks that seem impromptu, using common objects, performed casually in social situations.

Now, I've repurposed them to play nicely in a bigger, structured show, but many still translate to smaller venues and, of course, casual close-up.

You'll learn nearly two dozen routines with business cards, playing cards, sugar, matches, coins, safety pins, rope, rings, paper napkins, crayons, and more.

For example, I've taken one idea and turned it into a modern spirit slate routine where the letters of a thought-of word appear on business card blanks.

In another, I've totally transformed a method to completely conceal it, allowing a spectator to visualize a chosen card while everyone else sees nothing.

Also, I give you a sweet way to introduce a favorite old bar trick to the latest crowd by making a less familiar item seem even more magical.

And, I milk a simple coin production and for all it's worth, making each successive appearance more impossible, until the last one just can't be believed.

Plus, I show the way I like to perform the quintessential paper match trick, complete with every detail, turning this quickie into a modern masterpiece.

There's also manipulation with wooden matches, a magical give-away you can make for pennies, and a couple of ways to make paper matches behave strangely.

Then, I tackle a trick that hasn't been in fashion for many years by giving you an alternate, impromptu version that's worth remembering.

And I make another substitution, by taking a cute trick out of the bar... doubling its impact... and leaving a spectator with real change.

I also show you a natural-looking way, with empty hands, to instantly clue-in one of your helpers to reveal a card, chosen by another.

Next, with a new presentation, a favorite (little-known) impromptu trick becomes a demonstration of instantaneous travel through the fabric of space-time.

And, I cover various tricky ways to put a ring onto a rope without apparently using the ends, and a quick impromptu bit with a Sharpie cap...

Plus, a neat variation on the torn and restored napkin where... First, the tears move from one piece to another, then everything comes together in the end.

Then, a puzzling color identification effect becomes my favorite comedy mind-reading routine for kids using only a few ordinary crayons.

And we finish off this lesson with a bunch of knots that appear, vanish, double, and do the kinds of unexpected stuff that ordinary rope shouldn't.

This lesson is packed with the widest variety of tricks to date, and there are quite a few gems among them. It's time to have fun so let's get started.

My Kind of Magic by Alan Shaxon

My Kind of Magic by Alan Shaxon
Here is a book devoted mainly to routines to prepared after much thought and practical performance. It is a simple matter with sufficient money to acquire the most expensive apparatus and present a show which in complimentary terms is only a demonstration of the props involved. The professionalism can only be achieved when perfect routining has been acquired and mastered.

Alan Shaxon has made available in this book his routining of known effects and his advice on several matters to assist the reader to improve, possibly beyond recognition, the magic act which one may have thought had already reached the ultimate in presentation.

Alan Shaxon - The Sophisticated Sorcerer

Introduction by John Wade, 28 effects, over 80 photographs and 100 illustrations. 208 pages hardback book

Alan Shaxon - The Sophisticated Sorcerer starts out in Alan's own words, as he takes us through an incredible career in magic, that began with a bout of measles and a few weeks off school, as he delved into his very first magic book, and went on to a very full life as a professional magician, seeing the world in the process until his retirement just a few years ago.

He looks back at those who influenced his early career from his idol and friend Robert Harbin to performers such as Edward Victor, Al Koran and David Nixon.

There's also a fascinating, in-depth, chapter on Robert Harbin that Alan had written years earlier, and anecdotes from his wife Anne, and daughter's Paula and Julia, who had all worked on stage with Alan at different times. Many friends in magic contribute too, with tales and happy memories of working alongside Alan, interspersed with lots of photos.

Alan was one of the nicest, and indeed modest, magicians that I've ever know; the first half of this book acts as a great tribute to him.

The second half is devoted to the magic that he performed in his shows over the years, including his own original creations, complete with detailed illustrations and explanations. 'Ariel Fishing', 'Confabulation', 'Harbin's Card in Whisky Bottle', 'Ultimate Nudist Deck', 'Hydrostatic Glass', and many, many more. This section of the book could be renamed 'The Stand-up Magicians Handbook' it is that good. There's a wealth of great material here.

For anyone who knew Alan then this is, of course, a really great read, but for those who didn't, it also works so well, offering a real insight into the career of a professional magician.

Steve Short and Scott Penrose, and everyone who contributed to this book, have done a wonderful job, not only in capturing the essence of one of British magic's finest ever magicians, but in allowing his magic to live forever.

"The essays in this book are worth the price of the entire book, and more!! The rest of this book is a treasure trove of fascinating mental effects that your young - and not so young - audiences will enjoy. These wonderful effects are so good that I'm tempted to dust off my old Riccardo outfit and start performing again. If you have any doubts whatsoever about performing mentalism for children, try one or two of the effects in this book. I know you'll change your mind. Thank you, Paul, for compiling and publishing this valuable book."
- Richard Webster

"When magicians and mentalists think of 'kids' they think of kids 3-4 years old. This is rarely the case, even for regular kids entertainers. People do not give kids enough credit for being smart. They get mentalism and mindreading, even at the age of five and six. It can be done, and I have done it. They certainly understand when Harry Potter gets a psychic image."

Triple Cask Triumph by Elliott Terral

http://shop.dananddave.com/triple-cask-triumph.html

https://vimeo.com/118193173

Triple Cask Triumph is a simple, direct, in-the-hands variation of Dai Vernon's famous Triumph. This version contains no traditional sleight of hand, and it should serve as an excellent guide to structuring magical effects with the audience in mind.

From Card Men by Ricky Smith: "This is not your standard Triumph. Elliott wanted to distance the effect from the method, so rather than go through the often-times dull shuffle and cut sequences, he embraced a spectator-as-magician approach with as few traditional sleights as possible, opting for subtleties and boldness instead. By leveraging audience's preconceptions, a seemingly natural shuffle is anything but, and two revelations are produced without the magician touching the deck."

Each performance of this effect is an experiment in further understanding audience perception, and we encourage you to understand the principles involved and create your own variations on Triple Cask Triumph.

Robert Moreland LIVE

Robert Moreland LIVE (Penguin LIVE) , teaching video send vi...
"I'm always blown away by Robbie Moreland's work. His methods are well thought out and pure magic. You'd be insane not to buy anything he parts ways with!" -Jordan Amystika

“Robert Moreland saved my life in Vietnam. A decision we have both pondered the sanity of.” - Anthony Miller, Leather Master

"Robert Moreland transcends the usual inane patter that plagues this genre and emerges as a true storyteller and entertainer; one who just happens to be mindbogglingly good at magic." - Travis Eaton, Actor/Director

"Robbie Moreland is the kind of guy I truly stop and listen to. He has such a passion for his art that it reflects ten fold in his effects." - Ryan Schlutz

"Robbie Moreland transforms mere tricks into enchanting tales during which your eyes truly do deceive you into thinking magic really does exist!" - Jamie Badman

“So... I am assuming you have a card that has a flap attached to make the card change.” - Criss Angel (after watching Robert perform a card magic with no gimmicks)

“There are a precious few magicians who when you see them perform, have that touch you'll never forget. Michael Skinner and Albert Goshman come to mind for me personally, both gentlemen possessed something unique that manifested itself in a particular brilliance which only they brought to the table. They somehow hid the obvious thousands of hours of practice deep inside a flawlessly disarming, natural, proficiency. This takes a mastery of magic that is as rare to find as it is beautiful to experience. Robbie Moreland is cut from the same cloth, bringing just such a quality to his magic whether it's an entire show, or a single effect. It's so easy once one masters the mechanics of magic with such perfection to, in time, allow one's skill to get away with him. Robbie has managed to strike the perfect balance of visual artistry and magical content, and the result is magic that is eye arresting yet still mysterious. To put a fine point on it: Robbie is the kind of artist that every true student can learn so much from, and I look forward to doing just that every time the opportunity arises.” - Shannon Clark

“Robert's creativity and performance ability exceeds that of anyone I've ever seen.” - Joshua Stenkamp, Black Jacket Entertainment CEO

“I've gotten to spend many days with Robert watching his creations and I can attest to his devastatingly devious mind for creating some really magical moments. I love his work!” - Shaun Robison

"Robbie is a very gifted Close-Up magician. Cards dance in his hands, coins just melt from hand to hand. This will all change soon...soon as I find my hammer.” - Mike Gallo

“Robert's magic is so smooth he must be dipping his hands in fanning powder.” - Steve Beam

“Robert's magic is not only visual, but well composed. I perform many of his routines regularly, and they are some of my absolute favorite pieces of magic, not only for me, but my audiences as well.” - Michael Casey

“Robbie is what is known as an Underground Magician. He's the kind of guy that does the good stuff and keeps it quiet. All that is going to change.” - Luke Dancy

What will he teach?

In this lecture, Robert gives you tips and insights into how to make your magic sing to an audience. While you will be learning some of Robert's most cherished routines, the goal of this presentation is to make you realize the untapped potential of what you are already capable of performing. Some of the greatest magic you will ever learn is already in your possession. Join Robert in this exclusive look into taking what's possible and transforming it into the impossible.

Flipping-Out Ramsey This routine is Robert's take on Troy Hoosier's “Extroydinary” routine. This routine has received rave reviews in the Magic Underground from such names as Nathan Kranzo, Eric Jones and the late Jack Parker. This routine features a very well-known gimmick and Robert’s diabolical “Pac-Man Production”. If you love good coin magic, this should be right up your ally!

The Space Between This is Robert's four phased Card Sandwich choreography that utilizes some of his favorite sandwich sequences with a Moreland Touch. This routine builds in impossibility with each phase and has a beautifully placed finale that leaves audiences speechless. The routine is gaff free and perfect for parlor work.

Subliminal Flash Biased Paul Cummins wonderful routine “Flasher” from his must have FASDIU lecture notes. Robert’s presentation molds this into a journey thru the subconscious that begins and ends with a thought of card. Great for walk around, parlor, and mentalist shows.

Window to the Soul This routine is Robert’s take on divining a thought of card. The method is the essence of simplicity and is attainable by just about anyone with a minimum of card handling ability. However, the great thing about this is the presentation. Robert explains to you the tidbits and pseudo-cold reads that makes this extremely potent. And, when it is done, you will have made a new friend for life.

Observation This four-card Monte routine is pure eye candy with lots of visuals, transpositions, and transformations coupled with a dynamite presentation. You move-monkeys will love this one!

These routines and more will be at your disposal after this rare look into the mind of one of magic's most hidden talents.

Who is he?

A majority of you who are new to our art probably have never heard of Robert Moreland. Robert is a native of Savannah, Georgia where he spent the better part of three decades perfecting his silky smooth brand of magic. How to Tell Anybody's Personality by the way they Laugh and Speak by Paul Romhany

"Finally somebody has updated cold-reading to something that is ultra-modern and a lot of fun..."
- Chris Cox UK Mentalist

"Being able to tell a person's personality by the way they laugh and speak opens up new doors for mentalism presentations as well as an amazing new way to give cold-readings."
- TC Tahoe

If you had a secret weapon that allowed you to see inside the enemy's headquarters to see all their files, documents, and war plans, would your chances of winning be improved? Absolutely. We do have a secret weapon to win over the person you want to impress. It is the science of laughter and speech analysis, or non-verbal language.

This secret weapon is an invaluable tool for any working performer. Many of the top performers in the world are now using this technique to theme their shows, using it to give cold-readins and even enhance their cold-reading business by giving readings over the phone!!

A unique approach for the performer to give readings or theme their mentalism presentation around people's personality by they laugh and speak. Imagine being able to chose the right person to assist you onstage by listening to the way they laugh and speak. This book will open up new possibilities for anybody who gives cold readings, wants to give readings over the phone, or use it in their performance. Twelve years ago Paul Romhany and Ken Ring started work on giving personality readings by the way people laugh and speak. Their research, and work in this field has lead to the publication of "How To Tell Anybody's Personality By They Way They Laugh And Speak." This book opens up new doors for every mentalist and magician who wants to include a fresh approach to giving personality readings. The book dissects the various types of laughter and speech patterns, and how to give readings based on how a person responds to a joke or talks to you.

Paul Romhany now themes his entire one man mentalism show around people's laughter and speech patterns. On stage he will keep his show light and have everybody laughing - all the while actually giving them readings. It's the perfect tool for mentalists who perform any routine where they want to tell the audience something about themselves. For the first time this book is available to the magic and mentalism fraternity. You will learn how to incorporate this in your act as well as give readings on people's laughter and speech.

Patrick Schlagel - Mnemosign

Mnemosign – Patrick Schlagel (Book) 1
See them cower in fear as you rip thoughts from their minds! You will be shocked and amazed at the information provided!

Review by Craig Browning:  One of my favorite bits of business is naming the Zodiac sign of total strangers; needless to say I have a variety of ways by which to accomplish this and am always on the lookout for more. Patrick Schlagel’s composition delivering some eye-opening possibilities – some fresh thinking on how to use Branching Anagrams. In fact the thinking offered as well as the historical overview he extends, correcting the long held credits as to who actually gave us the original concept vs. those that have been given the strongest acclaim; nonetheless, these strengths are sufficient for allowing a nit-picky old fart like me to overlook the many grammatical and basic layout shortcomings the book suffers from – they are many as are the misspellings or, to be more correct, misapplied terms.

If you are not shy about using the Branching (a.k.a. “Progressive”) Anagram technique this book will give you some fantastic perspective; techniques that obfuscate the method in some very clever ways as well as scripting approaches that narrow down the process long before the first question (a.k.a. the seeming start of the challenge) is asked.

Patrick gives significant credit where it is due, pointing the reader to alternative sources and thinking that will help you go even further with your understanding and approach; materials by Alain Nu, Doug Dement, Daniel Love and more. – Craig Browning

This Product is Packed with:

51 pages packed with information.
16 variations
10 ways to improve your existing system
7 different approaches
Trained medical personnel may need to be on hand to administer to those who faint during your performance.

Walk up to a group of people. Have them think of their sign! Find the most psychic amount them. Point out several people – and “Read Their Minds!”

All this for an amazingly low price. Can it be TRUE!

8-1/2 x 11, 51 pages, perfect bound.

With a little work on your part, you can walk out in front of any audience, without any props or pre-show work, and just start reading minds! What more could you want? – Richard Osterlind

Patrick has done a wonderful job in covering all the various aspects of telling people what their sign is in a convincing and believable manner. – Richard Webster

The way he establishes his premise is strong, his verbal control of the audience demonstrates masterful technique, and his non-verbal methods of pumping were as innovative and clean as you could wish for. Patrick has done a fantastic job here! –Atlas Brookings

There are several reasons people don’t do progressive anagrams. In Mnemosign, Patrick Schlagel addresses what he sees as the five problems and offers solutions for all of them. Seven approaches of the effect offer possibilities for everyone. Sixteen variations gives you a way to repeat the effect with different outcomes.

In one effect from the book, you seem to ask no questions and tell several spectators their sign. In reality (You remember reality don’t you?) of course some questions must be asked. In most progressive/branching anagram work, this means asking up to eight questions. The techniques in “Mnemosign” will show you how to hide the one question you ask in the presentation. In a WORST case scenario, you could get one “No” answer before revealing their sign. Nothing written down, no pre-show, no stooges, no kidding. Don’t wait until you see someone else perform it, you’ll be sorry.

ET Q&A By R.W. Cosley

The Question and Answer plot is the most engaging in the performance of mentalism...And this is a take on Q&A you have never seen before!

"I gotta say I was skeptical, but I was wrong. This is a worker, if that's not damning it with faint praise. It takes a classic effect and adds a couple of elements to make something new and fresh. If you can stand that, I'm pretty sure you'll love and use this. I haven't bought any of Reddevil's other work, but based on this I will. Congrats Robert." --Dave Moses

What if you could conduct a Question and Answer demonstration in a parlor or table setting, one in which a spectator writes down a secret question about her life circumstances…and then other members of the group besides the performer were able to provide an “accurate” reading based on that question (without them actually knowing the contents of the questions itself)?

In other words, what if members of the group could “really” divine elements of her question and contribute to the answer? And without stooges or DR…

Interested?

This is not only possible, but repeatable. ET Q&A takes a typical one-billet reading routine and turns it into an emotional group experience. With the performer as the catalyst, you give members of the table "the gift" of being able to cross the bridge of a spectator's mind and heart...

They will leave the performance not only astonished, but empowered...This is ET Q&A...

"Robert has put together a beautiful intimate Q&A routine. Everything is very well orchestrated, and with only a couple of billets you can literally have a little act in your pocket to perform at the table..." --Luca Volpe

"It's a fantastic idea!"--Michael Murray

"This is a gem, potentially a very powerful piece of emotional mentalism and that opinion is based on just the first read. Love it." --Ewen Wilson

"It is powerful stuff and, presented in an informal and conversational manner, is engaging and entertaining."--Neil Somerville

"I think it is an excellent routine, and Robert's method of incorporating others is fantastic. It is well thought out, well written, expanded where it needs to be, a recap of actions taken, and a summary. The manuscript is an excellent learning tool for the routine. As for the routine, although it is described as a dinner table routine, it is not by any means limited to that. It will play as stated, at a dinner table, but will also play at a party, walk around, and on stage."--Tony Iacoviello

ET is a 30-Page PDF e-book in 16-point font. The routine contains the billet methodology, the "ET" reading system, and sample scripts.

Wi - Predict The World

First came TUBE and now Wi.

You write something down on a piece of paper, give it to them and ask them what kind of food they would eat if they could eat anything.

They say French food.

Inside the paper is a phone number. You tell them to call the number. When they do they reach a French restaurant. A real French restaurant, not your friend trying to pretend to be a French restaurant!!!

It's really that simple and can be adapted to tons of different types of predictions. Like TUBE, this a principle you will want to adapt to your needs.

And the great thing is you don't need a secret assistant to pull this off, ever.

You can use this to predict almost anything in the world that has a phone number.

Nothing is ever written down by the spectator and...
No nailwriting
No preshow
No switches
No peeks
No magnets
No mirrors
No thread
No carbon paper
No double writing
No multiple outs
No dual reality
No sleights
No stooges
No secret assistants

As a bonus, I'm including my updated version of the Annemann classic, Voodoo, appropriately titled wiDoo. A personal item gets transported from a secret hiding place in someone's home to a freely selected stranger's house. No duplicate items, no sleight of hand, works every time and there is irrefutable proof of the impossible. wiDoo is Voodoo on acid...

Dare Devil Deck Henry Evans

The Daredevil Deck seems to be an innocent Phoenix Deck - but it's marked in a devious way! You will not believe how BOLD it is!

It is a marked deck you can read blindfolded, since the markings are 350% bigger than the Phoenix Marked Deck and 700% bigger than the Ultimate Marked Deck!

Perfect for parlor, stage and video performances.

On the DVD, Henry teaches his killer routine using this daring deck!

Final Destination Matthew Wright

"The Best Ending to 3fly...Nothing else even comes close."
- Craig Petty

For years I had stayed away from coin magic. It never really struck a cord with me....especially 3 fly routines. It's funny looking at it now as my 3fly routine has played a major role in helping me win The Magic Circle Close-up Magician of the Year, The IBM (British Ring) Close-up Magician of the Year, The Macmillan International Close-up magician of the Year along with my two FISM awards.

Back in 2006 when I was the Head Magician at Illusions Magic Bar in Manchester England, I decided that I needed a coin trick for my bar set and vowed that I wouldn't rest until I had developed the best coin trick in the world. In my eyes, I honestly believe that is what I have done, and now it is yours to use and take and make your own.

This specially made gimmicked Kennedy Half-Dollar coin set allows you to perform one of the fairest looking 3 flys around. You can openly show only 3 coins throughout the routine and the climax where the final coin slowly and elegantly floats from one hand to the other leaves them speechless. There is very little sleight of hand needed and you are expertly run through the moves on the accompanying DVD. The pre-show set up takes only a couple of minutes and the in-show get ready takes only a couple of seconds.

This effect is not only part of my competition act but is something I use every single day of my performing life and it never fails to get reactions.

I have sourced a great thread that I am fully confident with and include a spool of it with the coin set. Also included with the set is:

A full instructional DVD which explains the handling of the coins, how to prepare the hook up, how to hook up during performance and different ways to store the gimiicks so that you can perform the effect mid show.
A Magnet attachment.
PK putty
It is recommended that you purchase a PK ring

NOTE: Trailer shows the routine using Morgan Dollar coins. Morgan Dollar coins are NOT included

Brian Brushwood Book Test

The Brian Brushwood Book Test
This is it: The Ultimate Book Test.  Six years in the making, and (until now) performed by only a dozen mentalists worldwide.

Think about this for a moment... what would the perfect book test look like?  It would use multiple, well-known bestsellers to choose from.  The books could be examined before the performance, and then your volunteer could have a truly free selection of any word from any page in any book.

...And yet the performer would be able to figure out almost instantly what their secret selected word is.  And that's just one of the three separate effects built into these books.

Here's the flaw with every other book test out there:  if you want to divine a word selected from a book, you either need a crooked way to force someone's word selection, or you need a crooked book.  Forcing a word selection adds so many steps that your audience quickly becomes suspicious of just how "free" this word selection is.  And there are a bunch of fantastic book tests out there that use crooked books... but none of them have titles that your audience has ever heard of, let alone read.  So your audience is left to guess that the method involves some kind of tricky book (...and, of course, they'll be right).

This book test is completely different.  Your volunteers will truly have a free choice of any word in the book.  Meanwhile, all three books look like real books they've read before... because they are the real books they've read before.  Each book in the Brian Brushwood book test is an authentic copy of a well-known bestseller that has been diabolically altered to make possible the most stunning version of a book test created to date.  The books easily pass inspection before the trick begins:  there's no question that these are the exact same books that they've read and enjoyed in the past.

Performing Magic by Tony Middleton

Performing Magic: A Handbook on Performance for Magicians

"I've been reading magic books for almost 50 years, and I can categorically state that Performing Magic by Tony Middleton is the most important magical publication of them all to date. The secrets in this book have been discovered by top working magicians through years of performance for the public, many of whom have kept this information to themselves because it has set them apart in the business. Ultimate Networking Tool by Jeff Kaylor and Anton James

The Ultimate Networking Tool is a system for being prepared to make lasting connections in an impressive way. Not only will you leave your new contact with a memorable interaction, you will have obtained information such as their name, phone number, and email address as well as key details about this person that will help your relationship develop.

"The best, most entertaining way to get more leads. It solves all the problems when you meet a potential client and they don't have a business card on them."
- Erick Olson - Corporate Magician and Spokesperson

This is a solution to a problem that every professional has dealt with.

Not everyone has a business card, and even if they do, most people often forget to carry them around.

Putting information into a cell phone can look unprofessional, especially if you are at a paid gig.

Having the spectator write down their info helps in loud venues and avoids the need to have the contact repeat themselves.

Business professionals love this (and you) because it makes you look creative, clever, and most importantly, PREPARED.

It's grab and go! You'll always have your cards, something to write with, and an effect. Most importantly, you're ready to get that ever-important contact info.

Simplicity = GOLD

Will do more for you than any card trick and pays for itself!

Embryos by Paul Prater

Embryos by Paul Prater - Book
Embryos is Paul Prater's compilation of routines spanning eight years of stage shows. However, Embryos is much more than that. Paul also covers how to incorporate themes and concepts into a coherent show. He provides tips for finding space and how to market your show. He discusses not only successes, but failures and what to avoid

The routines focus on stage mentalism, but also have a dose of the bizarre with unusual presentations, dark tinged material, storytelling and even routines for sideshow performance. Many of the routines are suitable or adaptable for parlor or close up presentation as well.

Nothing is held back with full scripting, evolution, history and detailed explanations for each routine.

Performance is a visual art, and with this in mind, there are private links to performance videos of many of the routines, allowing you to see the pieces in action in front of live audiences.

Whether you are a new to mentalism, new to performance or an experienced performer who wants to see some different approaches to the classics of metalism, this book has something for you.

"I'm really impressed...I honestly think this is a very good book, especially for people who want to learn how to put a show together and to see how it evolves." Luca Volpe

"I think your Embryos is full of charm! It's great to see a nice straight forward mixture of good solid techniques with left of center presentations." Iain Dunford

Osterlind's 13 Steps: Step 11: Q&A Routines

"I've been using it for well over 35 years" -Richard Osterlind

Mind-reading on an EPIC scale.

Imagine looking into a crowd and knowing what EVERYONE is thinking. This is powerful stuff. It's electrifying.. you can see it in the reactions.

Richard Osterlind wields this power every night. And today, he's teaching the 2 ways he's done it for over 30 years.

Top mind-reading pros like Richard Osterlind swear by something known as a Q&A (Question and Answer). Members of the entire audience think of personal questions, and you the mind-reader start seeing the answers. It's electrifying.

PROFESSIONALS: If you haven't been a part of a Q&A experiment before, it's hard to explain the feeling. It's contagious in the same way laughing is, and the impact just builds and builds all the way to a roaring ovation.

You're gonna love this.

Tarbell 35: How To Make People Laugh

Comedy, like magic, employs the element of surprise, so it's only natural that we find the two working so well together.

Even the most serious magical performers have found moments where, through the use of humor, they can relax an audience before once again creating tension.

And, successful magicians in all genres know the power of laughter to strengthen misdirection, increase reactions, and leave lasting, positive impressions.

In this lesson, the very talented (and of course, funny) Gregory Wilson and Dan talk about the nature of comedy and how to incorporate it well into your magic.

They discuss what people find funny and why. Plus, they share some examples from their own work and guide you to developing your own comedic style.

Greg and Dan also offer you advice (gained from experience) about how to avoid some of the most common pitfalls of people who try to be funny.

They show you that laughter doesn't always come from telling jokes, and especially not from reciting a bunch of memorized stock lines.

As you'll see, most often the best responses come from honest reactions to interesting situations that you can manufacture and control with precision.

Whether you realize it or not, making people laugh at the right time (and for the right reasons) is the true mark of a professional, polished performer.

So get ready to laugh and learn some serious lessons about why being funny is so important... and how to do it well, with reliable results.

Floating Card Trick by Leon Mjolnir

The first part of the video goes over the basics of IT, wax and stripping IT.
Leon offers us a good example of a small portable IT kit, and a very clever IT dispenser style device, using a common office product.

He gives a good solid explanation of the basics. Nothing new to those of us who know IT work, but a good summation nonetheless.

We then move on to the "Speed Hookup" which is essentially a LeClair variant but a clever one. I'll admit that I had not seen this technique for anchoring used before... waxless anchoring to the body? Yup. And there are clear advantages to Leon's method.

Second Hookup:

It's refreshing to see *someone* using long IT theory. This technique is clever, as it allows for backup length for breakage, and sets you up for later effects. Leon gives a good 'out' for breakage here.

The Spins:

Rather than cover these individually, I'll go over the salient points.

Traditional Spin- we all know this one. But do you know what and where the 'catching zone' is?
Snap Spin- An alternate and more showy method of starting the card spinning.
Kick Spin- For a controlled, close quarters spin.
Vertical Spin- a unique spin for camera and very close work.
Deck Spin- Spinning a card from the top of the deck!

Wax Tips:

Tips on how to surreptitiously anchor the wax and how to end clean.
There are some really good practical workers tips here. Don't overlook this section.

The Moves:

Hand to Hand Tossing- The finer points on hand to hand floats.
Around the Body (v.1)- tips and technique for the around the body float. Not as easy as it seems!
Around the Body (v.2)- further practical tips on pulling off the around the body float.
Around the Body (deck spin)- Combining the deck spin with the around the body float.
