Five bottles with hanging pendulums are on a table. A spectator secretly thinks of one number, no force and concentrates on that number. No one is touching the bottles. Suddenly, the pendulum in the bottle with the chosen number starts swinging in a circle. The other pendulums remain motionless. Everything can be examined.
REVEAL A SELECTED CARD
Four glass bottles with a free hanging pendulum hanging in each are on a table. The bottles are labeled CLUBS, HEARTS, DIAMONDS and SPADES. A card is freely selected, NO FORCE. The performer asks the spirits to reveal the card. Say it is the Five of Spades. Suddenly, with no one touching the bottles, the pendulum in the Spade bottle starts to swing back and forth. The performer asks the value of the card and the pendulum swings and hits the glass five times revealing the value of the card, then stops moving. Baffling beyond words. Frequently asked questions Is it true that the secret was jealously guarded for seventeen years?
Yes! Seventeen years! Only a handful of people knew the secret and it really didn’t get out throughout that time. In the Internet age, that’s a real miracle. Keeping a secret for seventeen years is pretty good going - so now the time has come!
Is it true that no gimmicks are used?
Yes! You only need a scrap of paper and a pen or pencil, both of which are completely normal. The spectator can leave the room to do the drawing.
Is it true that the mentalist never touches the drawing?
Yes! Once the drawing is done, the spectator puts it into his or her own pocket and you don’t touch it at any point.
Is it true that the drawing duplication can be done by telephone? Yes! Without any preparation, you can do it by telephone or using instant messaging. Even from thousands of miles away, your spectator will believe that you've created a telepathic link between the two of you.
Is it true that you can learn the method in three minutes?
Yes! You can learn the method in three minutes. Many experienced mentalists do point out, however, that while it’s possible to learn the method in three minutes, it takes a lot longer to master the psychology and presentation involved in this type of effect. Is it true that the effect fooled top magicians and mentalists?
Yes! In early 1997, at a Mindon Mania event, the effect was shown to a selection of big names in the magic world – Pascal de Clermont, Dominique Duvivier, Gaëtan Bloom and Jean-Jacques Sanvert. It slayed them! A few weeks later, Jean-Jacques Sanvert described the incident in number 146 of the magazine Le magicien.
Is it true that there’s no trick, and that it is real telepathy?
No! It’s not real telepathy, but it’s the closest thing there is to it at the moment. There is a method. It makes complete sense, it’s as simple as it is inspired and I believe it’s unlike anything magicians would normally use to divine a spectator’s drawing.

Contents Include:
Sniper - One card is selected by the audience randomly and then put back into the deck. The magician places that deck on the table, and puts another card behind the deck. The magician shoots that card into the deck and it slides into the exact place where the audience's card is.
Assassin - The audience selects a card and puts it back into the deck. The magician spreads the deck on the table, and takes out a random card. The card is then shot into the spread deck, and accurately hits the chosen card.
Random Change - The magician divides the whole deck into 4 piles casually, and reveals 4 Kings on the top of each pile. The magician carries on with these 4 Kings and transforms them into 4 Aces in the blink of an eye.
Machine Gun - The magician finds out 4 Aces as the assistants, and then asks 4 spectators to select a card individually. After putting 4 selected cards back into the deck, the magician divides the deck into 4 piles, and sets each Ace behind each pile. Then the Aces are shot one by one into the piles to find out the spectators' cards.
Mind Freak - The magician asks the audience to remember one card when riffling the deck. Without extra moves, the magician immediately puts the whole deck onto the spectator's hand, and asks him/her to repeat that card silently in the mind. The magician then senses the correct answer and reveals it with a mental style. Furthermore, the selected card is reversed in the deck for a second surprise.
I hate Lu Chen's ACAAN - The audience and the magician exchange their roles, and proceed with the classic "A.C.A.A.N" routine to find out the named card at the designated position.
ITH Alone In A Crowd - One card is selected by the audience and put back into the middle of the deck. The magician turns over this middle part and it's sandwiched between the other two piles. The magician then shows off with the acrobatic-like move to reverse the middle part. Nothing done seems helpful for finding the card. However, the magician succeeds when the audience's card is found out the only one left face-up.
Marked Deck of Poor Quality - The magician asks the audience to select a card and put it back into the deck. Following that, the magician reveals the secret that a marked deck is employed. However, due to the poor quality, the marks are so hard to recognize. Seemingly having an awkward condition, the magician gives a jaw-dropping finale to reveal the audience's card.

Spectators are more and more skeptical these days; they need to see in order to believe! With HOLE 2.0, your spectators will still not believe what they have just seen!
Take out your deck and spread the cards between your hands.
Right in the middle of the deck you discover two cards that are a bit different. First, their backs are of a different color than the rest of the deck and they also have a quarter-sized hole in the middle.
Take out the two cards and allow them to be thoroughly examined. Your spectators will see that, apart from the holes, the cards are absolutely ordinary.
Next, take the top card of the deck and spread out the two examined cards.
With no false moves or manipulation, the card (the six of clubs) is slid between the two cards with holes. Everything happens under the nose of the spectators, inches away. Everything is clean, nothing suspicious to ruin the illusion.
Show that the six of clubs remains mostly visible from front and back.
Tell you spectators not to blink and to concentrate on the six of clubs.
Hold the three cards firmly between the thumb and forefinger of each hand.
Concentrate!
Although absolutely impossible, the six of clubs passes through the lower card and lands on the table. Matter through matter in full view and under the very eyes of your spectators!
Immediately hand out all three cards to be examined at the leisure of your spectators.

Zodiac is a project that began seven years ago in December 2008. I hired an incredibly talented designer to create some stunning art pieces. A Force Like No Other This is a psychological force that involves 2 audience members. Jonathan will teach his psychicality and psychology when working with a spectator to give the impression that a selected card is arrived at with no involvement from the magician, while seemingly taking place completely in the spectator’s hands.
Bill Switch Jonathan will describe his handling for a bill switch that allows the bill to truly never leave the audience’s sight.
Mental Miracle This is Jonathan’s opening routine from his close up act in which he divines four cards that are selected in four unique ways.
Over There An impromptu reveal of a selected card that emphasizes the build up of an effect.
Card at Any Number A selected card is positioned at any number called out by the spectator. Combined with performance technique, the impression is made that the cards were never handled by the magician.
Everything Changes This is Jonathan’s signature color changing deck routine in which a selected card, as well as the pack of cards, changes color after being in play for some time during the routine.

Your spectator is handed a bunch of classic movie poster postcards (Each movie is different).
While your head is turned your spectator mixes and selects any one of the movies (totally free choice) and puts the other postcards away (out of sight).
You now state that written on the back of the chosen movie is a list of all the movies included in the set. You ask them to read the list out in any order they like, while you try to pick up on vocal cues to determine which movie they are thinking of.
As they read the list you apologize, stating that you are not picking up any changes in their voice so you are going to try it another way.
