THREE DEGREES BOOK by Harvey Berg

This book revolves around one great routine that will give your audiences the impression of you having a super intellect and psychic powers.

The basic version was previously released in a private manuscript which debut at the 2009 Psychic Entertainer's Association's annual conference where it was a huge hit and an instant sell-out.

The basic routine is: A deck of cards is handed to a spectator, and that is the last time you touch the cards. The spectator shuffles the cards and deals groups of thirteen cards to three audience members and keeps one packet for herself. One of the spectators is freely chosen and you proceed to miraculously name every single card in that person's hand.

There are three versions taught. All three are self-working but the amount of mental effort involved varies. Also included is a related routine titled Fait Accompli.

Publicity Secrets #1 by Devin Knight

One of the greatest publicity effects ever conceived that can result in free newspaper publicity worth thousands of dollars. Of all the publicity stunts that Devin Knight created, this was the late Al Mann's favorite!

One of the effects described in this release is that a reporter drives your car while you sit in the front seat or stand on the street. You command the engine to stall, it does and the car coasts to a stop. No amount of attempts by the reporter will start the car. You get out of the car and place your hands on the hood and concentrate. The reporter is now able to start the car! Another variation has another car passing by that is also caused to stall and stop on the highway at the same time. This can make for a heated exchange between you and the other driver that will be reported in the newspaper. Before a tow truck can be called, the performer apparently uses his psychic powers to make both cars start!

HOW TO STOP A MOVING CAR IN FRONT OF A NEWSPAPER OFFICE

This is a fantastic stunt and it appears in print for the first time. The performer stands in front of a newspaper office along with a reporter and causes a car driving by to suddenly stall by apparently using the powers of his mind. The stalled car can NOT be started, despite repeated attempts by the driver. Other people on the street may stop and attempt to start the car. NO ONE CAN START IT. You and the reporter walk over to see if you can be of assistance. The reporter also attempts to start the car to no avail.

You claim you will start the car by using the powers of your mind. You place your hand on the hood of the car and concentrate. INSTANTLY, the car starts to the amazement of all watching. If people are on the sidewalk, they may applaud you for doing this, as it appears completely impossible. This feat can be an effective bit of street magic. Yes, you can even do these feats for television shows.

Why does love have to hurt so bad?

Here's a trick designed for walk around, table magic and live on-the-street performances. It's direct mentalism, but remains novel and funny. There are six different climaxes; a good reason why this trick has already become a favorite of close-up performers everywhere.

Effect:

The mentalist and a woman are at a table where he explains. "My friend's a magician and he just split up with his long time girlfriend. She insisted that everything they own be split evenly.
